DR. Noora Alrasheid

Noora is a bariatrician working in Food and Nutrition administration and running bariatric nutritional management clinic in Mubarak hospital.  Noora had obtained a master degree in clinical nutrition from Roehampton University, UK and PhD degree in adipokines and metabolism from University College London, UK.  During her PhD, she focused on glucagon –like peptide 1 (GLP-1) a satiety gut hormones and the effect of different bariatric surgery on the production of GLP-1, insulin, leptin and adiponectin also she investigated the effect of obesity on different metabolic biomarkers (insulin, glucose, GLP-1, leptin and adiponectin) in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
